This portrait of my Mum is from my own reference photo, and is on 9" X 10" Pastelmat paper using both soft and hard pastels, I have tried to capture her ready sense of humour, however, I think that she would not have been best amused in the knowledge that her portrait has been entered in a competition called "An old woman"
