This piece is inspired from my morning walk at my neighborhood lotus lake. While dozens of shuttle birds hovered around the blooming lotus flowers, my attention were instead smitten by the mercury like droplets (morning dew) gliding back and forth within the inner circumference of the floating leaves. Radiating glamorously in multivariate shades of green, the kaleidoscope of hues changed along with the breaking of dawn. A blissful misty morning indeed that could easily lingers on one’s mind perpetually. I know I could never forego this moment and thus I just have to immortalize it on my canvas (art paper).
