Category: Animals - Challenge: On the bird table
'A painting of one or more local wild birds that visit our gardens. It’s fine if they are perched on a twig or sitting on the ground; a bird table is not essential for this challenge.'
Please ask yourself if your painting shows the kind of bird you would see in your garden before you enter it. Not any bird painting will do! Entries which do not fit this particular challenge will be deleted after the deadline.

Mike Beeman of Cheyenne, Wyoming, works in pastel and oil, in studio and on location, to paint a variety of subjects, including landscapes, still lifes and figures. He is a signature member of the Pastel Society of America and a Master Circle artist in the International Association of Pastel Societies. His work has appeared in numerous juried exhibitions and competitions and has received many honors, including the Pastel Journal Silver Award in the 14th Annual Pastel 100 in 2013.
