In second place is Kerstin Birk with 'Apples and Grapefruit'. In third place is Teresa Allen with 'Dancing Cork Oaks'.

Deborah LaFogg Docherty’s art combines great two loves; her love of nature and her love of painting. She strives to give people a glimpse of how animals live in the wild, raise their young, court and survive. She paints a picture of a secret world that many never get a chance to see.

Her paintings have won national and international awards and have been included in Art museum shows in the US and abroad.

In February of this year she was part of a group of artists to go to Kenya for conservation. The goal is to help with fund raising efforts to bring back the Northern White Rhino from the brink of Extinction.

In April she was asked by the Florida National Parks Trust to create a painting for the 'Celebrating 50 years of Biscayne National Parks' fund raiser. She has also won a place in The Artists Magazines Top One Hundred Paintings of the year 2018.

Deborah LaFogg is a member of several renowned art societies, including the Pastel Society of America PSA.
